💠Lido: Top Up LEGO Treasury Wallet with 300,000 LDO

This is a proposal brought forth to the Lido community in an effort to allocate additional $LDO to Lido’s LEGO organization.
Lido’s LEGO Organization:
LEGO is Lido’s ecosystem grants organization. LEGO funds grants for contributors that help bring new users to Lido. Proposal:
This proposal suggests funding the LEGO organization with an additional 300,000 $LDO ($900,000 USD). This additional funding would be used to cover expenses related to: bug bounties, event coordination, and more. Currently, the LEGO treasury wallet is near empty and this top up is needed by LEGO in order to continue operations.
Breakdown of funds:
The proposal to allocate more funds to the LEGO treasury will work to fund a number of initiatives, including: Audits (e.g. Lido-on-X) (approx $300,000 needed). DevConnect event presence (approx $100,000 needed). Bounties via ImmuneFi (approx $200,000 needed).
The LEGO organization represents an important part of Lido’s efforts to grow the ecosystem, and this proposal would allow LEGO to continue that effort. Grants programs in general offer a way for protocols to give back to the community and contributors, in an effort to achieve protocol growth. This can be thought of as an investment in a protocol’s community!

Recommendation:
I recommend that Rabbithole metagovernance vote ‘Yes’ for Lido to top up the LEGO treasury with 300,000 $LDO. In my opinion, grants programs such as LEGO incentivize one of Rabbithole community’s core values which is Participation>Speculation. By funding ecosystem grants via LEGO, Lido is creating a platform for active contributors to be compensated, while also growing the value of the Lido protocol!
