# Lido: Create a Committee for Hiring

## **Summary:**

This proposal is for the creation of a ‘resourcing and compensation committee’ that would be used for ‘hiring, onboarding, and payout process for DAO contributors below the senior-most level’.

The committee will be allowed to deploy a resourcing budget as they see fit twice every year (which will be disbursed from the Lido treasury to the RCC wallet - via DAO vote). This budget will be used by the committee for ‘managing payroll, work related expenses, reimbursements, and travel’. Utopia Labs will be used for payments to contributors, invoicing.

This proposal can be seen as a step towards decentralization as it grants Lido community members a leadership spot within Lido’s DAO, and a platform for smaller contributors to be compensated for their time and efforts within Lido’s community!

### **Recommendation:**

I recommend that the Rabbithole metagovernance pod vote ‘Yes’ for Lido to create an RCC. This proposal can be seen as Lido creating a channel to reward their contributors, and that aligns very well with Rabbithole’s core value of Participation > Speculation!
